Website and Newsletter Privacy Policy
At the Beth Cornelison,
Author website, I’m committed to keeping your private
information safe. I never share or sell your email
address, which is all that is required when signing up
for my newsletter via my site, or any other identifying
information about you that may come into my possession
through your interaction with my website or via email to
me. My newsletter sign-up information goes directly to
MailChimp, which is the third-party
service provider I use to create and mail out my
periodic author newsletters that contain information
about my books and book- and author-related news.
MailChimp uses a double opt-in (meaning after you sign up for
the newsletter, you get an email asking you to confirm
you signed up) as a security measure. MailChimp’s analytics
allow me to see information such as my open rate, click
rate, and bouncing email addresses so that I can
efficiently and effectively manage my list. You can
easily unsubscribe at any time via the Unsubscribe link
located at the bottom of every newsletter you receive
from me.
NOTE: To comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection
Regulation) passed by the European Union to protect the
personal data of EU citizens, anyone younger than 16
years of age cannot consent to signing up for my
newsletter without the permission of a parent/legal
guardian.

This privacy policy does not cover links to other websites. For instance, I have
links to various book retailers where you may buy my books. Each of those
companies will have its own privacy policy governing their activities.
From time to time, this privacy policy may change. These changes become
